  • 16 ounces cavatappi noodles
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 5 ounce can evaporated milk


  1. Add the uncooked macaroni and the chicken broth to the Instant Pot insert.

  2. Top with butter, dry mustard, salt and pepper and stir.

  3. Seal the Instant Pot lid closed and press manual. Cook on manual function, high pressure.

  4. Set the timer to 5 minutes and make sure the seal is closed.

  5. Do a quick release after the pasta cooks and the timer goes off.

  6. Once it is safe to open the lid pour the evaporated milk and cheese over the pasta and stir until combined and melted.
