Do you have a spoiled pet at home like we do? Lucy is our special spoiled rotten cat. If she could talk she would probably refer to herself as the queen of her domain. We are her people who live in her house and we wouldn’t have it any other way! We love her sassy little spoiled self.
She loves to talk and is very vocal. She is the most loving cat I have ever had. She will climb all over you giving you love and she can never get close enough. She gets so carried away she drools all over whoever is getting the love.
The minute I come home from work she is running to the door to greet me. I don’t know how she knows it’s my car pulling in the driveway but she never fails to greet me with welcome home love!
Her life didn’t start out so easy. She was caught on prison grounds with her kittens and was taken to a local vet. My daughter was working at that vet’s office. All of Lucy’s kittens were adopted but nobody wanted to adopt her even though she wasn’t even a year old herself.
Lucy was being overlooked because she was older and a black cat. She was getting depressed in the cage and wasn’t wanting to eat. My daughter felt sorry for her and brought her home. Lucy has been thanking us ever since then. She is our little love bucket!
We named her Lucy but half the time we call her Lulu. We can never seem to stick with one name with our animals. They all end up with various nicknames depending on their personalities and our mood.
I love having pets in the home. They have so much to offer and pets give back way more then they could ever take.
Do you have any pets in your home?
Please consider adopting a black cat or dog. They are often overlooked and the last to be adopted.
